The spreader is equipped with a complete computer that controls all the activities of the spreader, such as spread volume and spread width regardless of vehicle speed. The computer also records everything the spreader does, such as driving speed, location, spread amount of material and liquid, spread width and whether more is spread to the right or left. This information can then be sent through the GPRS system to Vegagerðirn's Winterman system, or a user can run his own system and monitor all distributors at work, centrally from the company's computer.

The diffusers are custom ordered according to the needs and wishes of the buyer, but the ordering process takes 8-10 weeks.
